Apr 29, 2010 · I have a 1996 s10 blazer with a 4.3 vortec 262 motor. Its been swapped to a remanufactured motor. I am getting a correlation problem, when i come to a stop, the motor will stall. someone told me that i need to re learn the computer, but my efi V2 with the 7.5 software is not compatable. does this sound correct as to the fix, and if so, where can i get the reset done? One quick thing would be to take the Idle Air Control out of the throttle body and check it for dirt. It's the large nut with an electrical connection on it.

Apr 02, 2020 · The idle tends to hunt up and down while moving with clutch depressed. The engine load calculation goes up when the idle pegs at 3100. The problem is somewhat intermittent, in that some accelerations the idle will stay below 2k, sometimes it pegs at 3100 with full IAC open. I can feel the IAC going full open while accelerating sometimes.
